Resolving Error 1020

Check if all your drivers, the “.Net framework” and Windows installer are up to date. Disable all Windows programs running in the background as well as real-time scans of other software. Then right click on the Glyph icon and select “run as administrator”, enter your log in details, proceed to Settings > General and change from 64-bit to 32-bit.  

After this, right-click on RIFT, and follow the steps below: 

  1. Launch Glyph.
  2. Sign in to your account.
  3. Right-click on RIFT in the top-left corner of the launcher and select the "Repair" option.
  4. When prompted to begin file recovery, please click the "Yes" button.
  5. Allow the repair process to go through.
  6. Re-launch your game.
