AK/GF - FAQ about the Transfer of Aura Kingdom and Grand Fantasia to X-LEGEND ENTERTAINMENT CO., LTD.

General Questions  
When will the game be closed? The gameservers at gamigo will be closed on February 15, 2023.
Can I continue playing the game in the future? Yes, the game will be relaunched by X-LEGEND.
This is expected to happen on the 22nd of February 2023.
Do we need a gamigo account or only an Aeria Games account for the transfer? You only need to sign up with the new publisher X-LEGEND, but you won't need additional accounts at gamigo unless you like to play a different game like Fiesta Online.
(AK only) What happen to Steam? If you have a valid and working e-mail contact registered with the Aeria Games portal, you will receive a Transfer Code just like any other player.
Will banned accounts be able to transfer? If a player is banned in a gamigo server, will he get unbanned? No, they will not be able to transfer. We are not sending e-mails to banned accounts.
   
Transfer Code  
How do I get my transfer-code? We will send the code via e-mail between January 17, 2023  and January 19, 2023.
Please check the e-mail adress registered with your aeriagames account and make sure that you can receive the mail.
Will players only receive the Transfer Code via mail, or will it also be available on the website when login in or as a download? Unlike games we have had closed before, you will get the code only via e-mail. This is because we are closing the whole aeriagames portal.
Will players who are not subscribed to the newsletter receive the transfer code via mail as well? You do not need to sign up for the newsletter, because this is a service notice. We will send to all active players.
I did not receive my Transfer Code. Who can help me? Please contact the gamigo support just as usual. We will need some information about your account to support you. We will not hand out any transfer codes without confirmation that your request is legit and you are indeed the owner of the account that your are looking for.
Will a player's data be transferred the moment the player enters the Transfer Code? This would be difficult if a player enters the code mid-January and continues to play until end of February on gamigo's server. There is no overlap in the data. We will take final backups after closing the game, even if you already use your code earlier. There is no connection between X-LEGEND and our database and all data will be shared anonymously only.
If a player plays other Aeria Games (e.g. AK, GF, SY), does the player receive two codes or just one? What happen play the game on two different Server of a game? You will receive one code that is valid for all games on the Aeria Games portal. However, if you did not play any of the games, you also won't be able to transfer anything for that specific game.
Do you have a time frame to redeem your "Transfer Code" or is it available for three months? Please follow the announcements from X-LEGEND for details.
   
Aeria Points and Sales  
What happens to my Aeria Points? Aeria Points cannot be transfered to the new service. However, all items that you have had purchased before and are added to your account will be transfered. We recommend that you spend your Aeria Points before the game is closing at gamigo.
Will players be able to redeem unused CM wish/paid services after the transfer?  Please reach out to X-LEGEND for details about the service operation. We are only providing the latest game progress, but it's up to the partner how they are going to use it.
Since all Aeria Games will be closing, Aeria Points will probably be useless, can we have a special sale or a last Tiered Spender at gamigo, so we don't lose our Aeria Points? We are not running a special closing sale to not destroy the ingame economy for the relaunch. All of that would be included in the transfered data. However, together with theTransfer Code you will receive some additional nice gifts for our other games via e-mail.
Will we get special offers in the future like Tiered Spender, Services (Rename) or titles? Please ask X-LEGEND for details about the future operation of the game.
   
Data Transfer  
What happens with my progress at gamigo? We will anonymize the data and hand it over to X-LEGEND. They will be able to restore your progress after creating a new account. You will need a secret Transfer Code to get your progress restored.
What will happen to character names when the transfer takes place? Character names will be anonymized before the transfer. This is part of the overall anonymization and cannot be prevented.
Will there be a maximum number of accounts to be transferred per IP? We are not tracking your IP addresses to identify multi-accounts.
What progress will be restored and what not? What happen for example to Guilds, Custom Panels, Housing Items, Friend System, IG Currencies , Custom Items, Companions, Equipment, Relationships and more? Under the assumption that Characters get put together when an account has characters on the same account on different servers, what happens if it's more than the maximum characters allowed? Will the same Servers be kept US/ES/DE/FR for AK and US/ES/FR/PT for GF or are we migrating to AK/GFTW? If there are multiple servers based on language will transfers be possible between then? Please ask X-LEGEND for details about the future operation of the game.
Will the transfer change our characters? For example, will our gear levels or armor/weapon prefixes be affected? Please consult the X-LEGEND support about this question. We are providing all information in an anonymous way but parts of it may be excluded by X-LEGEND for different reasons.

Do I need evidence of my data in case of lost items? It's a good idea to keep a record of what you got and also take screenshots. However, we have no influence on how X-LEGEND will handle your requests regardless.
What will happen with deleted characters? Will players be able to recover them after the transfer? Please consult the  X-LEGEND support about this question. We are providing all information in an anonymous way but parts of it may be excluded by  X-LEGEND for different reasons.
Is the data transfer really anonymous? Yes. We are not sharing any personal information but only anonymized game data. Without you signing up yourself with X-LEGEND and providing your information, there is no relationship to you or your personal data.
I'm still feeling uncomfortable. Can I get my data deleted? Yes, you can get your Aeria Games account deleted following the standard process for account deletion. Also we are offering special discounts and gifts for our other games. They are included as coupons / vouchers in the newletter as well, so even if you are not going to transfer, the newsletter is worth taking a look.
Will the Volunteer and CM roles still be around and will they be done by the same people? Please ask X-LEGEND for details about the future operation of the game.
   
Content Updates and Maintenances  
How will the patches that we missed compared to TW server be handled? One big catch up patch or several small releases? Please ask X-LEGEND for details about the future operation of the game.
Will there be downtime with our server being closed and theirs not ready, or will there be overlap where you can migrate before ours closes? The game is expected to relaunch on February 22, 2023.

Will it be necessary to use a new Launcher? Yes, you will need to download and install a new gameclient.
What happens if I already have an account in TW with the same e-mail address? You can either log in to that account and use your code or create a new account under a different e-mail. We are not sharing your personal data (incl. your e-mail address). It does not need to be the same e-mail which you have had used on the aeriagames portal.

Will the passwords be saved? No, you will need to sign up for a new account with X-LEGEND and also can set a new password while doing that.
