How to switch to using a Dedicated Video Card

If you are seeing performance that is far lower than what you would expect with your video card your computer may be using your integrated graphics card instead of your dedicated video card. You can find steps to switch to your dedicated video card below:

If you are unsure of your video card type, please create a support ticket and attach a DXDIAG report using the following instructions:

1. Press the “Windows” and “R” keys simultaneously to open your “Run” window.
2. In your “Run” window, type “dxdiag” without the quotes and click “OK.” This will open the DirectX Diagnostic Tool window.
3. Click on the “Save All Information” button at the bottom of the window. This will save a text file named “DxDiag.txt” to a location of your choosing.
4. Please attach the DxDiag.txt file to your Technical Support ticket
